Hi, my name is The Khuc. Welcome to my virtual home on the Net. In real life, I live in Falls Church, Virginia.
I’m a .NET developer specializing in ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, SQL Server, Web Services, Javascript, classic ASP, AJAX, NUnit, NAnt, Subversion, Oracle and Extreme Programming. Besides .NET, I am also a big fan and have used many open-source technologies, such as PHP, MySQL, WordPress, Pligg, and Joomla.
In my free time, I like to read about new technologies and start-ups. Some of my favorite websites are Techcrunch.com and Hacker News. I also like to build web applications for fun in my free time. I put together Dealyzer in a few months to teach myself ASP.NET 2.0 and C#. I’m always on the lookout for new ideas and partnerships, so ping me if you do. Also feel free to check out my Portfolio page to see a list of websites that I have worked on.
I regularly attend Capital Area .NET Users Group meetings as well as local code camps and presentations on .NET technologies. Here are some of the professional groups that I participate in:
- AGGREG8
- CMAP
- Capital Area .NET Users Group
- Community Server
- CSK Community
- Channel 9
- Microsoft 10
- U.Va. Alumni
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Virginia in 2004 and Master of Science degree in E-Commerce at George Mason University (GMU) in 2007. Currently I am working on the Ph.D. in IT degree at GMU. My research interests are E-Commerce and Semantics Web. Some of the courses I have taken include Software Specifications and Requirements, Software Design and Modeling, Software Testing, E-commerce Technologies, Enterprise Architectures, Information Security, and Computer Networks.
When I’m not working or taking classes at GMU, you can find me hanging out with my family and HA, playing basketball with my buddies, jogging at the gym, wandering inside MicroCenter, and watching a little TV. Some of my favorite TV shows are The Office, Scrubs, Late Nights with Jay and Conan, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and the Colbert Report. Basically, I am up for anything that gets me laugh.
I hope that you have learned a little bit about myself. Please take a moment to sign my guestbook to let me know that you were here. You can also email me at thekhuc at gmail dot com. Thanks and keep in touch!

Are we at last brought to such a humiliating and debasing degradation, that we cannot be trusted with arms for our own defense? Where is the difference between having our arms in our possession and under our own direction, and having them under the management of Congress? If our defense be the real object of having those arms, in whose hands can they be trusted more propriety, or equal safety to us, as in our own hand? PATRICK HENRY, 3 Elliot Debates 168-169.
